Thanks to a commenter from yesterday, I've found where all the BSOTD google search traffic is coming from.
It's the bloody Wall Street Journal Opinion page.
Way at the bottom of
this page, there is a single line that says:
BSOTD
"Grl Sends More Than 20,000 Txts in 1 Month Alone"--HL, *P (MUNC, IND), 2DAY
The BSOTD is a link to
this page here from of all places, Upland Indiana. And of course, one of my best friends lives there. I doubt he knows this fast fingered girl though.
What I cannot figure out is why did the editor/writer of that page - the WSJ one - use those letters? Makes no sense to me. Oh well, at least I know the source now. And, I'm only slightly let down that I was not the target. I'm used to being practically nonexistent on the web. Nuthin's changed.
Perhaps the irony here is that a obscure link title takes hundreds of people to a story about a girl who texts 20k times in one month to the site of a guy who doesn't even OWN a fuckin' cell phone!
Go figure.

Have you heard the entire recording of Capt. Sullenberger?
Go listen to this. I must say, after my small tirade about this last week, I'm glad to see that the media is doing the right thing with Sully; giving him the appreciation he deserves, instead of invisible sky friends.
A cool thing about that recording is now that I've been playing the flight simulator for awhile, I understand damn near every bit of the chatter and numbers being tossed out by the tower and pilots.
